Series Overview
Those Who Starved, Died Covered with Roses (2021-present), is my way of processing my ministry in New York City, primarily working with communities and individuals experiencing homelessness. It is a gesture that honors people I have loved, many of whom died homeless and in obscurity. Many of these works are unfinished, as I am still deep in the work both physically and spiritually. Each piece is an illustration of life, recalling a complex and fragile history that breathes and lives before I call it finished.
